Francis Flores is a seasoned marketing and business leader with nearly three decades of experience across telecommunications, fast-moving consumer goods, quick service restaurants, and retail. He has held senior leadership roles in some of the region’s most respected organizations, including Unilever, Smart Communications, and Jollibee Foods Corporation.
At Jollibee Foods Corporation, as Global Brand CMO, Flores' visionary leadership was crucial in global expansion. He launched the "Kwentong Jollibee" campaign, a narrative-driven approach that resonated worldwide, winning multiple 2018 APAC Effie Awards. This initiative exemplified his expertise in combining storytelling with strategic marketing for impactful brand engagement.
From 2015 to 2022, he served as Jollibee Global Brand Chief Marketing Officer of Jollibee Foods Corporation and JFC Philippines Country Marketing Head, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening the brand’s emotional connection withconsumers and supporting its international expansion. He led award-winning campaigns, most notably “Kwentong Jollibee,” which became a benchmark for purpose-driven marketing in Asia.
In 2022 to 2023, he was appointed SVP and Consumer Wireless Business Unit Head at Smart Communications, where he led the mobile business through strategic transformation, enhancing competitiveness in a dynamic and highly competitive industry.
In 2023, he joined PickUp Coffee as President and CEO of the Philippines, and now serves as Global Managing Director overseeing both the Philippines and Mexico. Under his leadership, PickUp Coffee has grown into one of the fastest-growing coffee chains in Southeast Asia, scaling to over 500 stores in just four years, with a rapidly expanding international presence.
He is also the Founder & CEO of FEF Marketing Consulting, where he advises local businesses on brand building andgrowth strategy. Their clients include Golden ABC (Penshoppe), Universal Robina, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Century Properties, to name a few.
