Chris is Chief Executive for the Ogilvy Group in Asia, with responsibilities for the strategic development and daily operations of the agency across 14 markets. He is a member of Ogilvy’s Worldwide Executive Leadership Board.
Under Chris’s leadership, Ogilvy has been consistently recognized for its effectiveness and creativity, earning the Most Effective Agency Network accolade at the Greater China and APAC Effie Awards for several consecutive years. In addition, Ogilvy was crowned Creative and Digital Network of the Year by Campaign Asia, who also named Chris Asia Pacific Agency Head of the Year. Ogilvy was the first agency in China to win a Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions and continues to be one of the most awarded agencies in Asia.
Over the last two decades, Chris has held several senior management positions in various offices within the Ogilvy Group, running local offices, regional units such as Ogilvy & Mather Advertising and working with major regional and worldwide clients. He is also the global WPP Client Lead for Huawei, managing WPP’s overall relationship globally.
Chris is actively involved in the Chinese internet scene and sits on several boards. He is currently an independent Board Member of Babytree (1761.HK) and an advisor to WGI (wgihq.org), an NGO focusing on international education.

Ashish Bhasin

A member of the Dentsu International Executive Team, Ashish is a well-known personality in the advertising and media industry with 32 years of experience under his belt. An astute businessman, he grew Dentsu International in India – now the 2nd largest advertising and media group in India by revenue – from a 50-member team to a 3000-member powerhouse. This overturned the existing ranking for the first time in over 80 years.
Prior to this, Ashish set up several of Lintas India’s (IPG) businesses and successfully led Lintas India for 20 years. He also had the global role of Executive Vice President, Lowe Worldwide and Asia Regional Director for Integrated Marketing.
Previously the Head of Jury for the APAC Effie Awards 2017, Ashish has also served on several global award juries, such as the Cannes Lions.
A record-breaking four-time winner of the coveted South Asia Agency Head of the Year Award at Campaign Asia-Pacific’s Agency of the Year Awards, Ashish was the Founding Chairman of the Sydenham Institute of Management’s Alumni Association. He currently serves or has served on most industry bodies in India and has recently been conferred a PhD (Honoris Causa) for outstanding contribution to the advertising and media industry.

In his current role as Japan Airlines’ Vice President of Global Marketing, Akira leads the department in driving the growth and innovation across the airline’s international markets. Angela Bassichetti

Angela Bassichetti has 20 years of expertise carved in advertising and entertainment marketing.
She arrived in the Facebook Singapore office one year ago to lead The Creative Shop APAC.
With a strong digital background, since the early age of the internet in Brazil, Angela helped to build digital departments in advertising agencies like DPZ (Publicis) and Ogilvy, where she conceived and deployed the creative work for global clients like J&J, Unilever, Samsung and Coca-Cola. During her prolific carrier, she had been awarded in the most recognised ad industry international festivals such as Cannes Lions, London Festival, Clio and AD&D.
Before Facebook, she was leading creative and production team at Content Partnership division of Warner Media in Latin America. Developing global and local projects, harnessing the power of creativity and giving voice to brands communicate with their consumers in a new and relevant way.
As manager, she had the chance to lead a diverse team of creatives, strategists and producers. Always working close to Ad Sales team, she designed omnichannel custom projects, scalable products and solutions for the countries in the region.
Angela’s high performance work profile can be understood by knowing that during her university days, she worked in the City Zoo and spent 6 hours a day painting forest murals in a cage with a 22 lbs Sucuri (Brazil’s biggest snake). This curious fact can tell much about her resilience and ability to work under pressure.

Anupriya Acharya

Prior to Publicis, she has held senior leadership positions with WPP in India and Aegis Media Singapore.

Christina is a passionate believer of consumer oriented, data fuelled and insight driven brand building. She moved to AliExpress in 2020 to head Global Marketing, with a vision to build the team and capability that supports AliExpress to be a globally recognised and loved power brand.
After joining Alibaba in 2016, Christina and her team founded the Uni Marketing methodology, framework and toolkit which enabled brands to digitise end-to-end marketing in China, within the Alibaba ecosystem and beyond. Prior to this, Christina was the Marketing VP of Johnson & Johnson Consumer in China. Over the past 20 years, Christina has held marketing roles with increasing leadership responsibility in a number of Fortune 500 consumer goods companies such as Kraft Foods, Unilever and Johnson & Johnson.
In recognition of her distinguished work in Marketing and Data Transformation, Christina was invited as a Judge for Cannes Lions 2019 as part of the Creative Data panel. She was honoured by Campaign’s The A List in 2018 for the disruptive innovation of Uni Marketing. Daphne Kuah

Born and bred in Singapore, Daphne started her career at Procter & Gamble in 2005 and is now the Vice President of Japan/Korea Febreze business and Global Aircare innovation leader. Daphne has been credited for multiple brand building and award-winning brand campaigns across markets. Most notable achievements include - expansion of Downy brand and getting to leadership share across ASEAN and winning multiple awards behind her #MaafIbu Ramadan campaign during her stint in Indonesia. Most recently, she led a product innovation under the Febreze brand to market leadership in less than a month, clinching the highly prestigious Nikkei Trendy ‘Best Hit Product of the Year’ in 2020.
Daphne is also recognised as a key leader in driving end-to-end effectiveness and efficiency across Media and POSM in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (AMA) region in P&G; step changing how P&G AMA operationalises POSM and Media.

David Porter

David is an independent strategic advisor and media reformer, specialising in media and marketing-related issues with a particular focus on Asia Pacific. His career spans 27 years in London-based agencies, followed by 18 years in various locations in Asia and the Middle East.
He retired from full-time media work in March 2022, leaving his role as Vice President, Global Media for Unilever. He led the CPG giant’s award-winning Media team across a geography bounded by Morocco, Russia, New Zealand and South Africa: “Most of World” as opposed to “Rest of World”.
During his 12 years with Unilever, the company was probably the most awarded organisation in Asia in terms of marketing effectiveness, frequently topping local and regional rankings at the Effies Effectiveness Index and the MMA Smarties awards. In recent years, David was part of a core team which transformed Unilever into one of the region’s most effective data-driven marketers in.
David is an advisor to the World Federation of Advertisers, where he was previously its Vice President for APAC. Other advisory roles include Indonesian data-driven startup Grivy, Australian attention measurement company Amplified Intelligence and digital ad platform Unruly. He recently stepped down from chairing the Mobile Marketing Association in the region and has featured in Campaign APAC’s Power List since its inception in 2019.
David has a long association with the Effies. He chaired the APAC competition in 2020 and has twice led APAC juries, as well as being a judge on other occasions.

Vishnu Mohan

Vishnu is currently the Partner & Chief Growth Officer of international digital agency Dept responsible for scaling up the network’s operations in Asia Pacific.
In his three-decade long career, he has spent more than 25 years with the Havas/Vivendi Group, one of the world’s largest media and entertainment companies, working in India, China, Singapore and the UK. At Havas/ Vivendi Group, he was credited with launching Havas Media network in Asia Pacific, establishing an operation across 18 markets with 2500 employees and leading 12 key acquisitions personally.
He left the group as its Chairman/CEO for the region in 2021 after successfully driving transformational strategy for the group in important markets, integrating operations as ONE and leading the development of content IPs leveraging the entirety of the parent company Vivendi’s ecosystem comprising music, gaming, streaming, publishing and films.
In addition to his role at Dept, Vishnu founded Avyan Holdings in 2021 designed to be a collective of companies working towards advancing human possibilities by integrating design, technology, and data to help brands and people thrive in a digital-first world. He also continues to play an active role in the industry as an advisor to multiple companies, board member at industry bodies, juror at multiple awards, diversity & inclusion champion, and advocate of purpose led work for brands and organisations.
An MBA in Marketing from India’s leading business school IIM Ahmedabad, Vishnu is based in Singapore, where he lives with his wife Divya and his two young daughters Tarushi and Vedanshi.
